Teacher Grace is one of our fabulous teachers at Hearts of Hope. Grace started her primary teaching career in 2016 and commenced her training in teaching Special Needs children in 2019. Grace lives on the school grounds and is often found after her official school day has ended engaging with the children, listening to music, singing and dancing. Grace’s special interest is teaching children with hearing impairments using sign language. Her future ambition is to save enough money to enrol in a master’s degree in “Hearing impaired and sign language interpretation”. Grace is vibrant, bubbly and outgoing, the kids just love her.
By sponsoring a teacher you will not only help us retain the best possible teachers for our students at Hearts of Hope, but also help with the rising running costs that are associated with our truly special children at Hearts of Hope.

There are two options that you can choose between for sponsorship of teachers - $175 a month, billed monthly or $2100 a year, billed annually.
Teacher sponsorship fees cover:
- Wages
- A travel allowance (to and from school)
- 2 meals a day while teaching at school
- Regular professional development training courses
